Rating: ★★★☆
Pros
- Doesn't over-dry skin
- Doesn't irritate the skin as much as other stronger acne treatment products. Good to note for those with sensitive skin!
- Keeps acne down
- Relatively more affordable than other acne treatment products
- Readily available at drugstores
Cons
- It's a pink cream and may stain clothes, so be careful!
- Leaves a matte finish that may be a little noticeable to wear out
Personal thoughts
- This has been my go-to acne treatment cream for a couple of years. It's relatively affordable and isn't as strong as benzoyl peroxide that flakes my skin quite terribly.
- Best to leave it overnight and it works drying up the zits and keeping inflammation down
- Best used when zits are JUST about to emerge (bump stage)
- Personal experience is that you won't see it work wonders i.e. you won't see the zits gone next morning (except maybe for the tiny emerging ones), but it does a decent job keeping things down.
- Because it has a matte finish, and if you have to, makeup e.g. foundation, concealer builds all right on it (though best not to further clog zits).
