Pros
- Lightweight, water-based makeup remover
- Doesn't leave any oily residue
- Leaves skin feeling soft and supple
- Comes with a pump
- There is no need to rinse after using the product. The formula is meant to hydrate whilst cleansing, making this a convenient and fuss-free regime.
- Readily available at drugstores
Cons
- You will require a separate makeup remover for stronger products e.g. waterproof products, eyebrow pencils, eye liners. Note: Bifesta also has its own range of eye makeup remover.
Personal thoughts
- Repurchased this a number of times!
- Takes about 3 cotton pads to completely remove my makeup. I felt the product works best on the larger skin area e.g. cheeks, forehead. For stronger makeup, I found myself having to tug the cotton pads across my skin which isn't the most ideal.
- I don't exactly love the feeling of not rinsing this. It leaves a slightly tingly, a tad sticky after-effect on my skin. I would rinse with splashes of water prior to applying other skincare products.
- There are 4 versions of the
- Moist: For dry skin - ceramide infused for moisturization.
Sebum: For oily skin - With green tea extract to tighten pores.
Bright Up: For dull skin - With saxifrage extract for skin brightening
Agecare: For more mature skin - with coenzyme Q10 - It's a great product for everyday use. Won't recommend if you tend to wear heavier makeup.
- I eventually switched to a micellar water makeup remover because it's much gentler and cleanses just as well, if not better.
