Rating: ★ ★ ☆ Pros Dries up zits Readily available at drugstores Cons Over-drying May not be suitable for sensitive skin Personal thoughts During my acne years, benzoyl peroxide was one of the very first topical treatment I wanted to get my hands on. Online reviews were promising and when you are battling acne, you would try absolutely anything and everything. This contains 2.5% benzoyl peroxide, not the strongest in the market at all. As much as I wanted to love it, it wasn't suitable for my sensitive skin. Yes it dried my zits, but made my skin peel, sore and patchy. Probably too strong for me. Because of this, my complexion looked more inflamed and "glossy", almost resembling a slight burn (wasn't painful though). Would suggest using this only as a targeted treatment i.e. apply just enough cream on zits. And be sure to moisturise, moisturise, moisturise!
